Lackawanna's Duda named Coach of the Year

Feb. 24, 2017 - Mark Duda, Lackawanna College's long-time football coach, was presented the American Football Network's JUCO Coach of the Year Award during Thursday's 81st Annual Eastern College Football Awards Banquet held at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

Duda is the second NEFC coach to win the award, which is in its third year. Joe Osovet, now head coach at ASA, won the 2014 award when he was coaching at Nassau.

Duda won his fourth conference’s coach of the year in 2016, adding to honors in 2000, 2006 and 2015. He ranks second among active NJCAA coaches with 159 wins.
