SCRANTON, Pennsylvania - Safeties, defensive extra points, field goals, rushing touchdowns, passing touchdowns and an interception return for touchdown were all part of Lackawanna’s 48-39 nonconference win over Nassau Saturday night at Valor Field. The No. 7 Falcons improve to 3-0 and recorded 455 yards in total offense.

Jo-El Shaw continued his torrid rushing pace, running for 168 yards and two touchdowns. Shaw has run for more than 150 yards in each game this season. Eric Finney added 70 rushing yards and two touchdowns. Quarterback Michael Dare threw for 231 yards and a score while London Cloud led the way with six tackles and a 35-yard interception return for a touchdown.

Monroe 58, Thaddeus Stevens 0

LANCASTER, Pennsylvania - No. 17 Monroe used two return touchdowns and 376 rushing yards as the Mustangs improved to 4-0 with a 58-0 nonconference win over Thaddeus Stevens at Bevilacqua Stadium. Thaddeus Stevens, which lost its first game of the season, was limited to 81 yards in offense.

Dejohn Rogers opened the scoring with an 82-yard punt return. He later returned the second half-opening kickoff 87 yards for a touchdown.

Three Mustangs, Tyler Bailey, Malique Merchant and Makiya Caesar, each ran for 90-or-more yards in the contest. Quarterback Sean Kelly threw for two touchdowns and ran for another.
