NEFC has a perfect week

SCRANTON, Pennsylvania - Lackawanna quarterback Michael Dare threw for 215 yards and three touchdowns to lead the No. 7 Falcons to a 49-14 non conference win over Erie Saturday night at Valor Credit Union Field at Scranton Memorial Stadium.

Jo-El Shaw ran for 107 yards and a touchdown while Eric Finney (86 yards) and Nasir Hooker (80) each ran for 80-or-more yards for Lackawanna, now 4-0. Juwan Green caught six passes for 138 yards and a touchdown and also recorded an 80-yard kickoff return for a score.

JaQuan Brisker broke up two passes and recorded two interceptions. He had a 79-yard interception return for a score.

Monroe 33, New Jersey Warriors 3

NEW ROCHELLE, New York - Monroe College’s defense led the way in the No. 15 Mustangs’ 33-3 win over the New Jersey Warriors Saturday. Monroe allowed only 50 yards in total offense and recorded three turnovers.

Quarterback Sean Kelly both threw and ran for a touchdowns to lead Monroe, now 5-0.

ASA 67, Hudson Valley 14

ASA’s Omar Truitt returned the opening kickoff 97 yards for a touchdown as the Avengers never looked back in their 67-14 win over Hudson Valley Saturday.

Quarterback Stone Labanowitz threw for 223 yards and three scores. He also ran for a touchdown.

Al’Tariq Jones ran for two touchdowns while Alphonso Howard led ASA, 3-1, with 75 rushing yards. Edward Morgan caught two touchdown passes. ASA recorded 529 yards in total offense.
