Lackawanna, Monroe pick up wins

SCRANTON, Pennsylvania - Four consecutive first-half scoring drives powered No. 17 Lackawanna to 28-12 lead at halftime and eventual 35-12 win over Hocking at Valor Credit Union Field at Scranton Memorial Stadium.

Quarterback Michael Dare threw three touchdown passes, two coming in the first half. Dare threw scoring tosses to Travis Crummy, Navon Prince and Kyren Best. Jo-El Shaw ran for a touchdown while Juwan Green returned a kickoff for a score, his second of the season.

Monroe 24, Hudson Valley 0

TROY, New York - Monroe College improved to 5-0 on the road this season with a 24-0 win over Hudson Valley. The Mustangs, now 7-1 overall, recorded their second shutout of the season by recording four interceptions and limiting HVCC to only four rushing yards.

Makiya Caesar and Rasheed Martin each ran for a touchdown while Jalen Brown and Shea Holbrook connected on a 53-yard touchdown pass.
