NFC Football Game Recap

How did the last NFC Championship game go?

The LA Rams had a 26-23 overtime victory over the New Orleans Saints on Sunday, January 20th at home in Mercedes-Benz Superdome. The game was close throughout until Los Angeles players with two seconds left from their own 46 yard line to take away New Orleans’s chance for an equalizer which led them winning by one point after OT ended (and they scored quickly).

The game was very close and it came down to the wire. The Rams were leading by as much 13 points in fourth quarter, but Saints made a comeback with just under two minutes left of regulation — tying things up at 21-21 before overtime began! However, New Orleans kicked off when they should have punted because one their players committed holding onto grass which gave LA an unfair advantage!

The Rams are heading to the Super Bowl for only their second time since 2002. They’ll be facing off against New England, winners of AFC Championship Game in 2018 season so far!

What did it mean for the LA Rams?

The Rams are a force to be reckoned with this season. They’re 13-0 and number one in the NFC, having only lost once all year long! Their offense has been powerful while also ranking fourth behind league leaders like Matt Ryan of Atlanta Falcons.

The team’s defense doesn’t disappoint either; they’ve allowed just over twenty points per game. It ranks first among all other teams who have played at least ten total games so far during these 2017 Regular Season procedures — not too shabby for what some would say is an average team full of ‘no name’ players.

The Rams didn’t just win this game, they flourinated! This is an amazing achievement and one that will give them a lot of confidence going into next week’s Super Bowl against New England.
