Oct. 15, 2018 - The Northeast Football Conference selected Lackawanna's Darius Brown and JaQuan Brisker and ASA's Jean Palacio as its players of the week.

Offensive: Brown, a 5-foot-8, 175-pound freshman running back from Florida City, Florida, ran for 245 yards and one touchdown on 22 carries in No. 6 Lackawanna’s 21-7 win over No. 12 Monroe. The victory allowed Lackawanna to win the NEFC title.

Defensive: Brisker, a 6-1, 193-pound sophomore safety from Monroeville, Pennsylvania, was credited with seven solo tackles, including a quarterback sack in the Falcons' win. He also received the award Sept. 24.

Special Teams: Palacio, a 5-9, 170-pound freshman kicker from Bayside, New York, made a 26-yard field goal and seven extra-point kicks in ASA’s 78-6 win over Capp Prep. He also averaged 58.7 yards on seven kickoffs, including a touchback.
