Oct. 30, 2018 - The Northeast Football Conference selected Monroe's Jarious Jones and Jevin Frett and Lackawanna's JaQuan Brisker as its players of the week.

Offensive: Jones, a 5-foot-11, 185-pound freshman running back from Seattle, ran for 201 yards and two touchdowns in Monroe's 69-28 win over Hocking. Jones fell three yards short of the Mustangs' record for most rushing yards in a game.

Defensive: Brisker, a 6-1, 193-pound sophomore safety from Monroeville, Pennsylvania, recorded seven solo tackles, including two quarterback sacks, in Lackawanna's 30-15 win over Georgia Military College. He caused a fumble and finished the day with three tackles for loss. He has received this award three times this season and five times in his career.

Special Teams: Frett, a 6-2, 185-pound freshman wide receiver/return specialist from Manchester, Connecticut, returned a punt 61 yards for a score to give the Mustangs a 21-6 lead. He also had a 20-yard punt return.
