Four NEFC standouts moving on
Dec. 17, 2020 - Four Northeast Football Conference student-athletes have signed National Letters of Intent to continue their academic and athletic careers in the December signing period. They were:
- Lackawanna defensive back De'Jahn Warren, who was ranked No. 2 in 247sports.com among junior college players and No. 4 in the ESPNJC50 rankings, signed with Jackson State. A first-team All-NEFC selection and an honorable mention NJCAA All-America defensive back in 2019, Warren recorded 35 tackles to go with five interceptions and three forced fumbles. He also broke up six passes and blocked five kicks;
- ASA wide receiver Kaedin Robinson, No. 31 in the ESPNJC50 rankings and No. 34 with 247sports.com, signed with Central Florida. His 23.8 yards per reception led the NJCAA as he caught a team-high 37 passes for 879 yards and nine touchdowns; and
- Monroe defensive lineman Nick Evans, No. 104 by 247sports.com, signed with Texas-San Antonio. Evans recorded 28 total tackles (9/19), including 5.5 tackles for loss while Monroe tight end Thomaz Whitford, No. 107 by 247sports.com, signed with New Mexico State. He caught four passes for 26 yards while appearing in six games.
