Nov. 11, 2014 - The Northeast Football Conference named Nassau's Yahkee Johnson and Julian Farinola and Lackawanna's DeAndre Black as this week's players of the week.

Offense: Johnson, a 5-foot-8, 180-pound sophomore running back from Richmond, Virginia/Lloyd Bird, ran for 145 yards and 3 touchdowns in Nassau's 48-20 win over ASA.

Defense: Farinola, a 6-foot, 200-pound sophomore free safety from Sparta, New Jersey/Sparta, recorded 7 tackles (6 solo) to go with 1 pass breakup and 2 interceptions in the Lions' win.

Special Teams: Black, a 6-foot, 178-pound sophomore wide receiver/return specialist from Pittsburgh/Schenely, returned 2 punts for 66 yards. He also returned one kickoff for 11 yards to go with 7 rushes for 36 yards and 5 receptions for 95 yards. He also completed 1 pass. The weekly honor is Black's fourth of the season.
